Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any recommnendations on a reasonable electrician in north NJ. I am in the Mt. Olive area looking for someone to install a ceiling fan (no existing wiring) and some exterior outlets. I received one quote which was for $2,800 and still extremely high for the amount of work I was looking to have done. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

How do you know it's "extremely high"? I'm an electrician but without exact details of your project nobody knows if $2,800 is extremely high.
Ceiling fan no wiring roughly $300-$400 right there.
This was some 6 years ago, might be a little too late to be of help.
