are there any drop-in day care where we can drop the kids for a couple of hours?

It's going to be hard to find drop in daycare for just a couple hours. Why not find a school that has after care? Then you don't have to worry about picking them up from school and bringing them to the daycare.

I know a lot of kids that went to Playhouse on Franklin Ave. in West Orange - they have hours from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

depending on where in WO you are, I use Nursery School of Christ Church in Glenridge. They have hours from 7:30-6 and it's a great place. For where I am it's less than a 10 minute drive to get there
