I have had nothing but bad luck with Periodontists. I have tried two - one in Pricenton and the other in NBswck.
One was on the phone while he had a knife in my mouth and the other behaves as if he is doing me a huge favor by answering ANY questions related to the treatment.
Can anyone recommend a good periodontist in Mercer/Middlesex counties?
I realize this is an old post but would like to know if you have found one. I need to see a periodontist as well as an orthodontist and looking for one who focuses on the issue, willing to explain possible treatment options and is not keen in recommending unnecessary or preventive procedures.
I went to Dr Chacker on Franklin Corner Rd in Lawrenceville. Very personable and thorough but conservative.
Don't know if you are willing to travel that far.
Another place you can consider is what used to be called the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark.
It's now called Rutgers University of Medicine and Dentistry or similar.
Top notch.
