NJ Unemployment questions. (Re-opening a claim) (telephone, to work, how long)

hello everyone, while searching on google, i found this great site that seems to have good answers. so i decided to register and ask my question as i cannot seem to find the answer to it. (And calling nj unemployment's 3 hour waiting time does not fit either).


So my question is, i was currently collecting unemployment, found a job, worked there for 2 months and i was let go. (long story short, my boss wanted to demote me, and told me to think about it, i called him back that night and no response, i went to work the next day and no one was there. no one answered and etc.)


So i filed to re-open my claim on this tuesday. my question is this.


1. how long would it take to start receiving benefits?

2. What is the process now, would i have to wait another 3-5 weeks just to receive the benefits from my old claim?

3. and would i have to go through that telephone interview interrogation all over again?


please help, family is depending on this, thank you.
