search engine allows recovery of related topics that would still have relevance.

Replying to an old thread benefits people who search on specific topics.

I do get that, but I wonder why someone would search the NJ forum for posts about BREAD. (Or why there IS a thread about bread/low-carb in the NJ Forum in the first place--they aren't subjects specific to NJ. People everywhere eat bread or go on low-carb diets.) Unless they searched the forum in general overall and just found that thread, but there's a whole "Food and Drink" forum which I'm sure must have covered a similar topic more recently. I don't know. Just seems odd sometimes how these ancient irrelevant threads pop up.

Best advice. Went from 195 to 157 in 47 days flat. I did 20 mins of cardio which included 10 mins of climbing stairs at work both in the morning and after lunch. No snacks, no bread, no sweets, nothing made of white flour. Its been 3 years now I have managed to keep most of it off. It now fluctuates between 160 and 163. I eat everything now but just not regularly and I stick to the rule of not eating carb more than a slice for breakfast.

There's plenty of information about this in Exercise and Fitness.

Why do people ask questions about major appliances and toenail fungus here?
