I'm taking my wife to a show at the Bergen PAC, and I am trying to figure out where to go to dinner. It seems like every time we eat in Englewood, it is at the Smoke Chophouse, so this time I want somewhere different.
I made a reservation at The Kitchen. The menu looks great, but I would prefer a place with a full bar. It seems like most restaurants there are BYOB. I know there are some Bergen County people on here, so, any suggestions?

Just read several review on YELP. Almost all of them say the food is great, but there are several people that say you need a lot of time to eat there. Someone said it took them 2 1/2 hrs. another person said 1 hr 45 min. I definitely want to try it on a night that we dont have a show to catch, but I think I will be a little nervous going there at 6 before an 8 O'Clock show.
If it's today probably a bit late to be of use, but, some of the best in the area by style IMO:
Pizza/Salad: Cassie's in Englewood
Vietnamese: Simply Vietnamese in Tenafly (formerly Saigon of Englewood, if you've been there)
Israeli/Mediterranean: Tavlin in Tenafly
Korean Soup/BBQ: So Kong Dong in Fort Lee
Vegetarian/Chinese: Veggie Heaven in Teaneck
Other notables:
Bennies in Englewood (Mediteranean)
Baumgart's Cafe in Englewood (Chinese/Diner/Sushi fusion - yeah I know I know, but it's a neighborhood staple)
edit: Just noticed the full bar comment.......Griffins Bar and Grill in Cresskill is probably the best area place for that, but you're getting a bit far from Englewood at that point.

Thanks for the list. Its not tonight. Its for Saturday night, so its not too late. We actually have a Baumgart's Cafe in my town, so I understand.
Bennies gets a lot of complements, so that is a possibility. No bar though, but I can bring my own if there are no other good options.

Ever try Grand Cru?
The one in Englewood is the original Baumgart's, for what it's worth. I've always thought it was better than the others.
Another solid full-bar choice is Akai Lounge, which is a sushi place on Dean St in Englewood.
