First, a big hello to everybody out there in New Jersey!
I need your help in finding a place to live near Newark as I am completly unfamiliar with the area.
I know enough to know that Newark itself and Elizabeth are not the best places to live: Gritty, high crime, dirty, etc....
I will need to be no more than 1 1/2 hour drive from Newark airport. Other than that, I want a city/neighborhood that is clean, nice looking, has low crime, and plenty of recreational options.
I don't mind if its in New Jersey or one of the surrounding states, or even Long Island except I don't know if that would only be 1 1/2 hours from EWR.
As for prices, I will be renting an apartment in the beginning. I am willing to pay up to 1200/month in rent for a nicer area. Of course if there are nice areas for less that would be a bonus
