Your kid(s) would get a great education at either. Wyckoff is ranked better, if you care/follow the rankings but both are very well regarded school systems.
Both VERY affluent towns. Wyckoff has bigger homes on average, but Hillsdale is known as the town with secret millionaires!
Demographics:
Hillsdale- Promidently White, Fairly large Asian population, VERY little African American, and a SMALL hispanic population because of the town center. (Has apartments above shops) Not like a Westwood or Emerson how they are every where.
Wyckoff: Promidently White, Less Asians than Hillsdale, VERY little African American/Hispanic population.
Both have great schools. Pascack Valley High School tends to do better in sports than Ramapo High School. But rankings show Ramapo higher academically. However, Ramapo teachers do observe at PVHS to observe how they implement the amount of technology they do in their education.
Personally, both are AMAZING towns. Upper Middle Class to Upper Class towns.
And once again with the Bergen County threads...Snob factor, affluent, big houses, etc.
Oh stop with the stereotypes. Yes, those things exist, but it doesn't describe everyone and every place in Bergen County. I grew up there and lived there for most of my life. I wasn't a snob, nor was I rich, and neither is everyone else there. Grow up already.

The majority of the responses have to do with affluence, snob factor, etc. I'm just pointing out the facts...
