Hi,

I purchased a home and the gas furnaces are about 15 years old. I don't think if they were ever cleaned. The heating works fine and heats up fast, but I heard that a tune up is good to do. Is this something I can do myself or is it better to get a heating/cooling company to do it? Any recommendations?

I use a friend who works for an oil company and this is what he does, services furnaces/boilers.
I could be wrong but I think your gas company, PSE&G or whomever will also provide this service for a fee, call them and ask.
Ask your new neighbors who they use in your area but do get it cleaned and tuned
