Probably because it's a small town with really nothing special about it. I have friends there so I'm pretty familiar with the area.

Rudy's Gun shop was in Clark.

The collective town was racist?

Heard they sold 'bedsheets' at one time and if a man buys a bedsheet you know he is up to no good. Guess if you have a bed bath and beyond in your town, it is rumored to be a Klan apparel store.

Well, Clark is in southern Union county and it did start out as a plantation.
