If it was white kids doing it to black kids, a certain person would be talking about this for a whole hour on his MSNBC show. And I saw that as a big black tree hugging liberal. This knockout game is deplorable and vile. I'm all for improved schools, better teachers and afternoon programs. But, this kind of behavior does not deserve coddling. These kids are violently attacking people that did nothing to them and they need to pay the consequences for their actions.

I'll tell that to the victims. They were victims of a senseless crime by an idiot. There is no need to sensationalize it by giving it a new name or recognizing it as a "game"(that is the myth the media is creating). It already has a name. It's called 1st degree assault and it happens every day, in every city, to every kind of person.

I don't think al Sharpton has an obligation to stand up against black on white violence. his business is in white on black violence. why do we pretend as if a race hustler like him could be useful when it comes to black on white violence? I couldn't care less what he says on the issue nor do I feel like he is obligated to address it.
the public needs to be aware of this knockout game so they can add it to the list of things to watch out for. its also a particularly offensive form of assault. I hope to hear stories of attackers being killed.
