I agree about the ocean temp being too cold that's probably the main reason most adults really would rather sit in the sand and observe. The possibilities of jelly fish and sharks keep most conservative waders pool side

Its been a great summer to spend time outdoors for heat sensitive folks like me .

Although, a surge of heat and humidity is predicted to strike around the 3rd week of august.

Yep, it hit 90 + F here today afternoon which made things quite uncomfortable for me.

Thought it might be time to revive this thread. What a nice contrast-24 degrees right now in NW Jersey. Probably a bit colder at my in-laws up in the Kittattinnies. It felt good to see a nice crust of frost on everything when I went out to grab a couple of splits for the furnace this morning. Nice clear skies too! I've been burning wood since yesterday-I generally just use the oil heat sparingly until the daytime temps drop into the 40s.
