I've studied the English language all my life, and now have to reinvent myself in order to convey meaning to a new set of languages.

I'm not being facetious. It's just that you have to understand your audience and the voices are new, and have shifted into new dialogs of conveying meaningful words.

"What you doin'?"

"You ok? Don't be freaking out on me, man, you know I can't handle that."

"Are you @#$#ing crazy? Smak that $%#@ s$@%, I'm telling you, man, straight up, you don't be messin."

And this:

"What does your street name say?"

"Are you asking for my address?"

"What is your street, where you live?"

"I've already provided that."

"Spell it, please."

"Its 'Port Murray."

"Can you say that again more slowly."

"Port - P -O- R -T, separate word, Murray. M - U..."

It's cultural, and it is somehow annoying and fine at the same time.

Oh, well.
