It's definitely not the "best" area of Woodbridge- there's some tiny, older homes back there, and a few multi-family units if I remember right- but it's probably pretty safe. It's only a few blocks from the train station- roughly a 5-minute walk.
I actually just found out the name of the place is question is the glades, it's an apartment...any info about that location??
Nope- Claire Ave is only a few blocks long, though, so it's not like one part of it is going to be much better than another. There's also no "big" apartment complexes there- I believe there's only single multi-unit buildings, so you're not going to find info on apartments.com or anywhere.
That area is an ideal area for a NYC commuter since the train station is across the street. My only gripe is the noise from the trains and all the hustle and bustle in that area (Police Station/Main street/Truck Traffic/main roads artery).
I've been told that Lake Ridge is one of the best areas in Woodbridge. What do you think of Dale City or that particular area? I've been hearing conflicting reports on that area.
Is anyone familiar w/Claire Ave in Woodbridge? Is it a safe area and is it a far walk to the train station?
You can google the town and see how safe it is. Plus you can see the street on google map. I think anything south or west is better than north or east in New Jersey. Nj has gone down hill purfusely.
