Why are the sending checks out? Do they do this every year?

i've been with them since 1990 (?) and I can't recall a year they HAVEN'T sent a check out. this is the largest though. it's a special dividend check based upon financials of the current (and past) years.

That is pretty amazing. It is like a little savings account where you get a few hundred dollars back at the end. I think it is a great idea.

no. these were dividends from 2004 and 2006. you'll get some dividends when you renew in march and (hopefully) a check next december.

I've been with them since 1987 and I recall getting 35% back then.

yes you can as far as i know. once you're in, you're in (employment-wise).
