I've got an emergency on my hands, back filling broke out. No dental insurance, looking to get a better deal if paying cash. Anybody got any recommendations? How much should I expect to pay on filling it out?

Honestly you don't want a "cheap" dentist.. you want a good one. Go online and check reviews on yelp and the like...
you don't want to cut corners with your mouth.

Bad work will likely have to get redone, costing you twice.. even worse leading to more expensive repairs.

I managed a dental office for 13 years.. you get what you pay for.

Like any other industry, you pretty much get what you pay for. Sure some fee for service practices may charge higher cause they can and nobody asks questions. Do some research, look for younger doctors at established practices. You'll get quality work and might get a bit of a break on cost.

In Essex County right next to lower Bergen County.

Trust me you can't go wrong with Dr. Russ.

MICHAEL RUSS DMD

Good luck and let us know whom you choose and how everything works out.

Whoa!

To afford Nj property tax you have to cut corners but, but, but...a cheap dentist? Really?

Se if RU medical school can accomodate your needs.

Info on being a dental patient at Rutgers:
Rutgers School of Dental Medicine | Patient Care

It sounds like it may be inexpensive, but one must be prepared to invest a lot of hours to even a simple check-up there.

Some dentists will work out a payment plan with you if you can't afford to pay the bill in full at once.
