I'm staying at the hilton near the airport and will be traveling to the prudential center for a game. Would it be better to drive and park or take a taxi. Input will be appreciated.

I get the hotel to drop me off at NJ transit, 1 stop to Newark and usually a free ride because the conductors don't check tix right away from the airport station.

Definitely dont drive! the Hotel should have a shuttle that can drop you at the train station. If you ask they may even drop you at prudential. Its also a shot cab ride if you dont want to deal with public transporation.

Default thanks

I believe the hotel is 4.9 miles from prudential center. Would it benefit me to catch a train? Or just take that cab. Thanks for info

does the hotel have an airport shuttle? if so, take it to the airport, walk downstairs, and take bus 62 to newark. or, if they have a shuttle to NORTH elizabeth station, take train to newark

North Elizabeth is a lightly used station....I wouldn't advise using it...and the Airport station is only accessible from the Airport itself.

take a cab.

Unless Hilton would shuttle you to the other Hilton in Newark that is 1 or 2 blocks from the Prudential Center

I would do the train, personally. unless you are intimidated by public transit, it's an easy ride. otherwise, a cab. definitely do not drive. the parking is probably as much as a cab would cost round trip, or close to it.
