True Chicago style deep dish pizza will be hard to find if not impossible in the NY metro area where they pride themselves on NY style pizza.
Deep dish is good, different but good.

theres a local pizza place in somerset i go to called amicis pizza http://wwwDOTcafeamiciDOTnet/ they have a pizza called the chicago pie, i've never had real chicago pizza but its certainly better than unos and looks pretty much like the picture you posted
Most East Coast people I spoke with tried and hate Chicago style pizza. To some it's too mushy, oily, and the crust has no bite to them.
To me, it's just a completely different food that happens to share the same name. It's almost like if there were pancakes and Chicago-style pancakes (which were actually waffles)... both good, but most have a favorite.
I happen to prefer 'our' pizza, but I do enjoy having the other kind when visiting the Chicago area.
