I've recently been diagnosed with arthritis. I am waiting on the lab results to confirm, but most likely I will need to find a Rheumatologist. I was hoping someone might be able to recommend one in the Passaic/Essex/Bergan area. Montclair, Clifton, Bloomfield, Nutley, Lyndurst, Rutherford are all close by, but I'm certainly willing to travel father.
I will ask for referrals from my PCP, but if anyone has had a good personal experience with a particular doctor, please let me know. Please feel free to send a DM if you'd prefer to be more discrete.
Welcome to the club, sorry to hear. I see my rheumatologist every 3 months so I go into NYC. I will stress the importance of picking the right doctor as I see a big difference in my NYC doctor at Hospital of Special Surgery (one of the best in the world) vs the rheumatologist I saw in the past in northern NJ. If you can swing it, go to HSS as it does make a difference. PM me if you want my docs name.
