This place is growing so quickly. and they're supposedly a decent company to work for. i just read somewhere that they pay $10/hr. if true, that's just an added bonus to patronizing them for their delicious burgers and shakes!

love SS. The S17 Paramus spot has been selling burgers like hot cakes...But GSP mall is a mess as is. Traffic is so darn ridiculous.

GSP is the best place for it.

But this business is riding the hype those food channels, and travel channels have created for burgers. Their food burgers are no better than burgers from fast food, or any diner. But they charge more money for spoofing it up a bit.

They're WAY better than Wendys/McDonalds/Burger King, and they're better than Five Guys. Definitely a step above fast food. But the lines at Madison Square Park are ridiculous; they ain't THAT good.

IMO, no burger is THAT good. Unless you are talking black label burger, but at least with that you can make reservations.

Paramus is nr 1 zip code in annual retail sale, more than any other zip code in the entire nation so it should not be a surprise, + along the busy Rt 17 / 4 corridor.

I'm not a fan of Shake Shack... overpriced burgers with horrible fries. Disappointed when I ate there the first time!
I wish we had IN-N-OUT like the West Coast

Not impressed with this massive Shake Shack expansion over the last couple of years. I'd only been to the Madison Park location up until a few years ago and well, the others just are not as good. A brand can carry an idea but a location is what provides unique product.

Rarely go out for burgers anymore anyway. I'll stick to my home concoctions on how to take Minneapolis's Juicy Lucy brilliance to new levels.

+1. In-n-Out is the most over hyped and overrated fast food place in the country...and I lived in Socal for 4 years.
