Ramsey, NJ (Camden: good hotels, safe neighborhood, shops) - New Jersey - City-Data Forum

So i am traveling from Raleigh, NC (Im from south jersey) and i am getting a hotel in Ramsey NJ.....What is the city like? Good hotels? Safe Neighborhood? Im from Camden County...stayed in manhattan for a while, so im used to small hotels, but i need something more suburban...any help??

you can't get more suburban than ramsey

Ramsey can be defined as a town, not a city. It's extremely safe with beautiful quiet neighborhoods. The downtown is adorable with lots of nice shops and boutiques. It's also extremely convenient to route 17 which is the shopping corridor of northern new jersey. You should enjoy your stay; it's a very nice town.

Hey Thanks SOoo much to everyone who gave me feedback. My Stay in Ramsey Was Great!! We stayed at the HoJo which was ok?

But we drove to Ny every day 15Min. away. Can't get any better than that. and it was quiet and suburban. It's a good city and we were right off of Route 17. I will stay there again just not at the HoJo!. Thanks all & Happy Holidays
