Palisades Park is trying out a system of electronic parking meters that issues tickets when a violation occurs. The tickets are mailed to the vehicle owner. Is this a legal method of notification in New Jersey?
Probably a better system then slipping it under the wiper blades.
They can Track the mail so they know it got delivered. So the owner (Who may not be the driver) can not say "I never got the ticket" Prove it was not taken from my car. So i should not have to pay the late fee's.
Can you cite the statute which permits the mere mailing of a parking ticket as proper service of notice Or any statute in New Jersey that requires a different methond of service of a parking ticket.

The specific section of the law that references these details is 4:4-3.
