I work in lower Manhattan, have two kids ages 9 and 7 and currently live in Westchester NY. We've been browsing at towns in NJ and townhouses online and came across the Cambridge Heights Townhouses. They look great and at a great price. Any advice about moving to this area? (We're Hispanic and like some diversity) How are the schools and the commute?
Any better recommendations? I need a 2+ bedroom townhouse, not interested in a single family house or a high rise.

Clifton is a diverse town (Mainly Hispanic and Middle Eastern) with OK public schools (would rate them C). It's much better and safer than next door city of Paterson. Clifton is quite affordable compared to most of NJ especially in Northern NJ.
Other towns you could look at are East Rutherford, Rutherford, Ridgefield Park, Elmwood Park and those in Southern Bergen County all similar towns.
The poster is right. Cambridge Heights is located in Nutley, Cambridge Crossings is located in Clifton.
Clifton school system is not ranked well.
