Me and my friend will attend to language school and move in August for 1 month in River Road, North Bergen(07047). Is the area safe for tourists ? Which one are mostly staying in the are black people or white people ?Thanks for your help.

language school? Where is there a language school in the area? I had looked at Berlitz and Inlingua in Ridgewood, I didn't know there's one in North Bergen.
Yeah, that area is fine, in fact, it's ritzy, right on River Road with a view of the river. I wouldn't worry about crime.

I had wondered the same thing. Maybe they're staying in North Bergen, but the school is somewhere else?

North Bergen (especially along River Rd) is fine, but I think you should stay away. As a matter of fact, just stay out of NJ altogether. We don't want you or need you.
North Bergen is great especially on river road, mostly high prices condos/homes in that area.
