Anyone knows about this new townhouse community right across St. Peter's Cemetery on Rt 27 in Somerset?

There are few units left for sale and I am contemplating to consider this as an investment property. Biggest downside is schools seem to be horrible Good commute to NY, close to Rutgers etc but neighborhood seems to be neither here nor there.

Can someone please give your views on how you see this as a good investment opportunity?

Location: 541 Somerset St, Somerset, NJ
Configuration: 2 bed 2.5 bath, decent sized den, garage, no basement, 1500 sft...
Price: 240-270k

TIA.

In its 47 square miles, Franklin Township includes many very nice residential areas, as well as state parks, farms, and open spaces, but this particular development (which sat--unfinished--for several years) is situated in the absolute worst 1 square mile of the township. The area is one of high crime and--IMHO--should be avoided.

There is a reason for the low price of these townhomes, and that reason is the dangerous neighborhood in which they are located.
