It's a fairly quiet town with lots of greenery and state parkland. There are several lakes and lake communities in town. Commuting involves either going over Skyline Drive, or driving through Wanaque to get to any major highways (or going up "through the woods" to get near the NY border on Route 17). Property prices are quite a bit lower than neighboring Bergen County, but taxes are very high. Schools are rated ok, not the best or the worst.
If you have specific questions, I'm sure we'd be happy to answer them. It's a lovely place, but whether it's a good place to consider living (if that's why you're asking) depends on a lot of things--commute, budget, lifestyle, etc.
