Yeah for a real suburban Irish town look across the border up in Rockland County. Pearl River, NY. Its a very Irish town.

Dunellen still is very Irish. Of course, the Italians and Poles have been around for a while as well, and about 10% of the population is now Hispanic. But you can still find Guinness on tap and Irish oriented items at the local gift store.

so would you say that the shore is predominately Irish?

and the more urban north is italian and jews?

I am told tenafly used to be very irish, and bergenfield also

Hello there, I am an Irish Catholic individual, too, and I do not know if you may have misinterpreted my statement, or some mistake with communication, but I see no reason you should take offense, and I am not elitist nor is what I described.
