LOL, and couldn't rep ya.

People drop like flies from drinking Essex County water. Unsuspecting newcomers move in and the cycle continues. It's a New Jersey secret.

And then when you mix Essex County water with whole grains...well, I heard your insides explode so forcefully that it sometimes shatters the neighbors' windows.

Yes, it's safe . It has never exploded yet.

Although I have to admit that Essex County water tastes disgusting! Honestly, it tastes soapy.

I refuse to drink the water from the tap and I only drink bottled water. I even use bottled water in my coffee maker.

Morris County has superior water - at least when I lived there. It never tasted soapy.

maybe your tap in the sink had some dish soap on it. I've lived in various towns around Essex County for 18 years and never had a soapy taste in my water. To be honest I drink tap all the time with no issues and to me it tastes just like water

Essex County towns don't get their water from the same place. East Orange and Newark have their own water supplies. South Orange water is run by East Orange. EO water is from wells; Newark water is surface water (not, however, from the Passaic!). Several towns are on New Jersey American Water which gets water from various sources. So there's no blanket "Essex County water". It is, however, all safe to drink; this isn't a third-world county despite what parts of Newark look like.

You can smell the chlorine in West Orange water. I refuse to drink it.

NJ water is OK. Not as good as water from NYC but better than any water you drink from the south. However, I still filter the tap water.
