I say WaWa..It's good, affordable....thumbs down on Starbucks. too damn expensive
and all those frappes by the way to all you yuppies out there has lots and lots of
calories. Dunkin Donuts I think is weak. a few years ago I would have said Dunkin all the
way, but lately It feels like they put too much water and not enough coffee when they
make it. I like my coffee strong, sorry.

The best coffee around isn't on the poll. Starbucks. Good strong coffee (of course they also offer a "mild" coffee every day for those of you that don't like strong coffee) that actually tastes like coffee, not just hot water run through a burnt pipe.
And it's not, as some would suggest, more expensive than the other "good" coffee places. I pay $2.09, including the tax, for a 20 oz cup. It's all the cappucinos, lattes & frappucinos that run up over $4.

I thank you. Instead, put it in a Christmas card for one of your kids teachers, or maybe a local cop. They'll appreciate it, and never know you got if for nothing. After all, if they go to Starbucks, it's as good as money.

i like Green mountain organic That is a treat though. I never buy coffee out unless I am on a road trip. Can't see paying $600 dollars a year when you could make your own, better, for less. Plus I would probably crash if I left the house without sipping 3-4 cups.

I make my own when I have the time to enjoy it properly. The average morning has me dealing with 2 kids & a dog before I can get out of the house, so I don't have time to make it myself.

As for the chains, I'd say Dunkie's.

Anyone ever had Ridgewood Coffee Company? Just as pricey at Starbucks, but it's a local place, which is always nice.

Continuing in the Ridgewood vein, the coffee at It's Greek to Me is excellent. I mean, as long as strong, inky coffee the consistency of molasses is up your alley. I'm not sure they offer to-go cups, though, and, of course, I don't think they are open in the morning. Oh, well.

Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla - Light and Sweet! Nothing beats it. Speaking of Light and Sweet, did you know that only DD's on the east coast know what that means?? It's crazy!
