So...I've applied for a job in with City of Newark. It will, most likely, involve living IN the City of Newark. I'm looking online for apartments. I found a great one in a brownstone, across from the park in Weequahic. Only problem is, it's right down from the Seth Boyden projects. When I googled for pictures, they showed a bunch of abandoned buildings. Does anyone still live there? If so, how does this impact the surrounding community?

I would not move to that section of Newark. Look in the Downtown or Ironbound...both are safer neighborhoods.
