Greetings,

This is my first time going through this, so I apologize in advance if I sound naive. This has been a very difficult time in my life. I was discharged from my job in June for performance issues. Despite doing everything I could, I simply couldn't live up to what my ER wanted. I worked for a major Insurance company, and my work environment was a little hostile as well (that's probably irrelevant).

Anyway, when I filed for UE I selected discharged which I assume is what automatically triggered the non-monetary claims examiner interview which I had this past Monday. The examiner called me, and I explained that I was let go because of performance issues, despite working so very hard many times 12/13 hour days. The examiner placed me on hold, and he placed a call to my HR dept. with me on the line. He left a vm for 2 people in HR. I assume this was to verify whether or not I was discharged for misconduct which I certainly was not. I was a dedicated, hard worker. Just couldn't give the ER what they wanted .

The examiner called me on Thursday, and stated my former ER never returned his call, and he would need to make a determination based on what I provided to him and he would assume I was being truthful which I was. He asked if I received any severance pay and I advised no. He told me I could appeal any decisions. This is why I am now confused......

My claim went from a pending status on Thursday, and now there is no status at all. I haven't received anything in the mail yet. It still has my weekly benefit amount. My question is, do you think:

1) my claim has been denied

2) my claim was approved and the payment info simply not updated

3) I received the 7 week DQ period for simple misconduct and will need to re-open my claim. It's been almost 7 weeks since I was let go.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
