Looking for Suggestion around Area to purchase a house (Princeton: new house, to buy)

Looking for suggestions around area where I can start looking for a new house. I work in Princeton, but I have commuted to PA in the past, so distance from work is something I can work around. I am looking for a house in the range of 500-600K (lower the better). Good School district (3 children). I am not looking for new constructions, since I think they are all grossly over priced. Is it a good time to buy after the school session starts ?

Any suggestions ?
