NJ Monthly. New rankings coming out this month, they come out every two years.
Nobody should be relying on a magazine for accurate school ratings. Especially a magazine that has nothing to do with education and uses an arbitrary scoring system.

Anyway if you just want to take it from somewhere else, i'd look at the academic rank both in absolute and relative to peers on the NJ Dept of Ed Report Cards, and try to look at at least 2-3 yrs. Any of the big published lists are pretty bad in my opinion just based on their methodologies.
SAT scores in absolute is a very poor indicator of school quality, they are extremely correlated with town wealth and thus tell you very little about the quality of teaching/curriculum. You might as well just look at average town income. If you take SAT scores and proficiency test results, and then compare them against norms from other schools with similar town incomes you'll get a much fairer way of looking at things and attempting to isolate the actual quality of the school system. The NJ Dept of Ed Report Cards are pretty good at giving you the information needed to make this kind of comparison.
In my opinion none of the lists do a particularly good job on their own, you need to dig into the details and then make your own assessment based on how much weight you would give to the various factors. You should also look at several years worth of data as single-year performance can bounce around quite a bit.
To be clear I'm not saying to completely disregard the absolute test and SAT scores, and the rankings that use them. If nothing else, they heavily influence home values since 99% of people will not do the detailed digging and just assume whatever the list says is gospel, regardless of how ridiculous the methodology behind the list.

The ranking is in the September 2014 edition. I just got mine in the mail yesterday.
And just to be clear...it's not a list or ranking or all school districts. Just the top 100 high schools. The full list of all 339 ranked high schools will be available online at NJMonthly.com starting September 1st.
