Previously I received Jury Duty, I called them to reschedule - They rescheduled for 90 days and now I received a letter "Juror Summons - You are summoned to report on Sep xx at 8.00am" and they want me to complete a brief qualification questionnaire.

I am currently out of country and I don't intend to come soon (Temporary Relocation or It can be a Permanent Relocation). This letter is received by my spouse in US - Can he call/respond on behalf of me? or Can we simply ignore this letter as I am not currently living in US.

Please help, I am really confused. Thanks for your help

Contact them & explain the situation. They may want proof that you're out of the country, i.e. airline ticket, proof of residence in foreign country (hotel / apartment lease, bill, whatever.) Maybe a letter from the local U.S. Embassy in the country you currently reside. Perhaps a letter from your employer that you are working in XYZ country & are not in the U.S currently.

If you just ignore it than they can cause you real trouble.

Either you or spouse should contact them tomorrow.
