Hello,

i have received some great advise on this forum and wanted to check again.

Considering moving to West New York area and looking at rental apartments on 210 Woodcliff Ave and 7427 Blvd E.

For those who have lived in these areas, could you please tell me if these buildings are safe for a single female.

I will be commuting north to Ridgewood, NJ - 8-5 job. How bad will be my commute?

Thank you

I am not familiar with the buildings, but I am familiar with the area each is in. Boulevard East and Woodcliff Ave are both safe and very nice, including but not limited to the areas where those buildings are. The commute might be frustrating at times (getting to the highway and traffic once on it) but should be tolerable on the whole, especially if you are using the area as a compromise to both be in NJ for work and have easy access to the city on evenings and weekends (if so you are making a very smart choice to balance the two but if you don't care about access to the city you might want to look further north). The biggest problem will not be either of the two things you mentioned here; it will be parking. Especially that Boulevard East address parking will be a daily headache if it doesn't come with the apartment.
