People sometimes use fake accents. After Jersey Shore became popular, I went to a pizza parlor and the girl working there had the most fake sounding accent. It's stupid that these shows would pressure some people to sound or behave in any particular way.

If somebody is trying to emulate the dolts on that show--either in the way that they talk, or in the way that they act--it is BEYOND stupid.
