We are in Kansas and my boyfriend gets high dollar contract jobs all over the USA. This isn't his first move but it is mine. Neither of us know much about NJ though. Could I get a few "luxury apartment" suggestions. I want a safe area that is clean and has a relaxing feel. My wish list is a spa, fitness center and a nice shopping center. He only wants to be close to his job in Fairlawn. Is this Doable?

Just check apartments.com or rent.com. There should be tons of options for the Bergen county area that will meet all of your criteria; the area has tons of spas, fitness centers, and shopping.

Fairlawn has TONS of shopping nearby. You have Garden State Plaza, the Bergen Mall, Riverside Square, Paramus Park, route 17 - it's got absolutely everything you're looking for.
