No one is being rounded up. People who have been knee deep in ebola juices are being monitored in a special hospital unit for a short period to make sure that they don't develop and spread the most horrific disease known to humankind next to smallpox. I realize that this upsets the Ebolists, but don't worry, I'm sure more white westerners will contract ebola before this is over and more funding will go to ebola research and health efforts in Africa.
While I do not support restrictive gun control measures since the liklihood of being impacted by a gun is far greater than being impacted by Ebola I would guess you are for a mandatory 21 day wait before someone could purchase a gun?
Irresponsible behavior by medical personnel and others exposed to EVD have prompted the establishment of general rules. that what 'we' do.
Additionally the science of EVD is not fully understood.
Hard to believe that someone dedicated to saving lives in Africa at great sacrifice to themselves, would complain about be quarantined in the the luxury of an exclusive, no expense spared, gitmo styled containment area.

MJ- it has to do with government overreach. You appear to be for it. I do not support restrictive government for guns or the right to travel freely unless there is an overwhelming amount of evidence indicating it is necessary. We do not have that.
You sure are overly trusting of government. So after all of these school shootings you support that any weapon purchased is held at a police station for 21 days while we check the purchaser out? They can pick up the gun in 21 days not really a hardship is it?

You must read different news sources than I do.
I read--in several media sources--that she is confined to a tent outside the hospital, and has a porta-john in which to relieve herself, and a basin in which she can give herself "birdbaths". There is no radio, no TV, and only few books have been provided.
In addition to the likelihood that the tent may have been a bit chilly on the past few mornings, I don't view those facilities as being...luxurious.
