Friends,

I am considering moving to a townhouse in Somerset Park, Hillsborough, NJ - this one is on Merritt Drive. Does anyone know how that part of Hillsborough, NJ is. Is it safe enough for a family to live there. I have a 4 year old kid and was wondering if there are other families with kids in that community. I was there today in the evening at around 5pm but didn't see any families around or kids playing around. When I visited other communities in Hillsborough, I saw quite a few folks taking walks and kids playing.

Also does any one know how Hillsborough Elementary school and Goddard School are. My kid will need to go to a pre-k for a year and then to the public school.

Appreciate your help in this matter.

Best Regards
Sid.

Yes, that area is extremely safe, as is the rest of Hillsborough.
Additionally, the schools are very good.
I don't think that you should have any concerns about this area.

Good luck with your move. Hillsborough is a good town with good schools. If you are looking for pre-K then you should also check out the American Montessori School on Route 206. also, just be warned that Hillsboro has half-day kindergarten. i think the montessori school has half-day options too afterschool. so worth checking out.
