Network Engineer, currently Project Manager for a small software house, thinking about taking the PiMP test just to have another notch in the belt so I dont become a stay at home dad unwillingly. Now, if my wife gets the promotion she wants next year I may be able to do so willingly. YAY.
Where the insurer steps in for the insured and goes after the money that the insured would get because the insurer paid out - right?

WOW-now if only my boss new that . I actually don't go after the money myself though. We're a little different then a traditional insurance company so it works differently, but other than that...where are those nickels????
Stay at home dads/ I wish I thought of that 31 years ago. That was unheard of. To this day I have yet to meet one personally. Ahh shucks the world is changing so there is no reason for me to be jealous Good luck guys now go out an burn your speedo!!!! Its an old joke.

well, while not "technically" a stay at home dad, my dad watched me during the day while my mom worked - he then went to his 4-12 shift at the jail. so, if you don't want to split hairs (which is done a lot in this "debate", not to get off track) I considered him a stay at home dad (and it was slightly more than 31 yrs ago )
Kudos to the stay at hom dad (sahd)! Honestly we're in a progressive society where that's becoming more common. My brother is an sahd too and my husband would probably be one for a few years when we have kids. Men should get their turn at playing the nurturer/caregiver too!
I have so much respect for my wife (a stay at home mom). I love my kids more than anything, but would go out of my mind if I had to do that for more than a weekend.
Well, I could probably handle it with a little help. Like a nanny, a maid, and a cook...as long as one of them could drive, of course.
