I have heard that schools in Monroe would be rezoned. Does anyone has any information on what that really means ? Would any kids who currently go to Monroe schools, would be rezoned to Spotswood or Jamesburg? Any information related to this would be greatly appreciated.

Monroes' population is growing quickly. Monroe school district now has 6 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 new high school (2011). The old high school is now the middle school.

Jamesburg doesn't have a high school, they send their kids to Monroe High School. Spotswood takes the High School kids from Milltown.

If anything the rezoning might be shuffling the elementary school kids within the district or canceling the send/receive relationship with Jamesburg.

Thanks for the response. When a rezoning happens, is there any chance that children would be sent to Jamesburg or Spotswood schools instead of Monroe ?
