§ 19:9-1.6 Parking, standing or stopping on Roadway prohibited, except in case of emergency
(f) No vehicle is permitted to stop or stand on any portion of the Roadway for more than two continuous
hours, except as set forth in (f)1 and 2 below. In addition to the State Police, Authority employees in charge
of operating parking facilities used for bus, vanpool, carpool and related operations are authorized to enforce the provisions of this subsection.
Section 1. 1. Parking is permitted in the designated areas of facilities used for bus, vanpool, carpool and
related operations ("Park-n-Ride") for more than two continuous hours; provided, however, that parking in
Park-n-Rides is prohibited before and after the posted hours of operation. Parking in Park-n-Rides on the
Roadway shall be limited to the period of 4:00 A.M. to 2:00 A.M., prevailing local time.
Note that "Roadway" includes all Turnpike and Parkway facilities and not the sections used for driving.

I think 46H meant you can just park it at any large hotel and no one would notice or care. Just find a spot in the middle of the parking lot and no one will even notice. Just make sure it's not a hotel that requires a parking tag in the dashboard or hung from the mirror.
In the past I've parked at the airport if I was meeting someone for a roadtrip and we were only taking 1 car. This wasn't at EWR obviously, that place is a ripoff to park.

I have done it with friends for the weekend. Park in the lot right in front of the main entrance. There are offices in the building too. They have no idea who is using the parking.
