Well, you could possibly rent a $1300 - $1600 one bedroom in Queens with a roommate. So that would end up being $650 - $800 each, But you don't really get a room then, one person will have to live in a living room...

Not to derail the topic, but I presume you're kidding, right? There aren't really people living permanently on the boats down there. I remember reading an article about an old boat dock for the homeless/transients that used to exist down there, but I believe that was shut down in the 1980s.

Yes there are people living on boats in JC at Liberty Landing. They're not homeless.
