Smails, the plates might read Pennsylvania, but they are really displaced New Jerseyans chasing after money. Let's face it: the Delaware River these days is nothing more than an arbitrary physical landmark. There might be a political boundary that still demarcates the two states, but culturally, Monroe County is the 22nd county of NJ. In fact, Northampton County is the 23rd county, and so forth.

You could give Cape May and Cumberland County to Delaware, give New Castle County Delaware to Pennsylvania, and call it a three way trade.

Just under 90 minutes or so door-to-door from Hawthorne to Midtown, but that includes a 15 minute walk each way from my house to Glen Rock/Boro Hall station.

I commute from south jersey (williamstown) to Lawrenceville (central NJ)

am: 1hr -1hr 10min
pm 1.5 hrs.
