My Husband and I are moving back to NJ in about two weeks with our two month old baby. My husband received a job in parsimony and we are looking at rentals first to get to know the area before purchasing a home. We have found a town home in Denville and wanted to know more about the area.. is it safe, child friendly, things to do?

Thank you!

Parsimony, or Parsippany?

Denville would be a fine place to live, but the commute along route 80 from Denville to Parsippany is awful during rush hours.

haha thank you.. sorry for the spelling error yes parsippany ... we are narrowing down two properties one in denville and one in roxbury. We don't know either area at all so not sure which would be the better of the two.

I have friends in Denville and they love it. Great town to raise a family. Nice downtown with good stores and you can't beat Denville Dairy Bar for ice cream. Good luck, Jay
