I would suggest that we organize a field trip/convoy, so that as many forum members as possible can park in front of his/her home.
The best part of our field trip would be the opportunity to overhear his/her call to the local police:
911: What is your emergency?
OP: Officer, I need immediate assistance. There are cars parked on the public street in front of my house. HELP!

WTF? How is the spot infront of the property you own or rent not your "your" spot? Really? I try not to be snotty, but I can really why some towns and counties get a bad rep. Maybe in Jersey City the people who drive around (probably without legal licenses) park infront of other people's homes, but that doesn't happen in good communities.
Do you even have a remote clue as to how ridiculous you sound?
In my community it's considered good manners to let the public use the public streets instead of claiming everything is owned by someone. I think it's kindergarten where sharing is typically first taught, you might want to look into it.
I like my neighbors, they like me, if they want to park in front of my house they certainly have every right to because, well, we're a good community that actually knows the Latin root of the word, communis. Shared. General. Universal.
No, it's called not sweating the small stuff (and if you don't know that somebody parking in front of your house IS "small stuff", then you have lost perspective), and it's also called having a sense of humor.
