I am a warm weather guy and cant stand the winter. If situation permitted it I would be down south. We had a little bit of glorious weather last week, and now it's back to frigid cold again, and it's March 18th. Spring is supposed to start in 2 days, and the weather still sucks. When does everyone think we will finally get warm weather, like in the 70s? I literally cannot take it anymore. When I complain to my family members and friends about how cold it is in LATE MARCH, they say "So what?," and "How does it affect you?" Does anyone else here who lives in New Jersey or another area of the Northeast feel the same way i do? Will we even have a warm Memorial Day, or will it still be freezing then? Will I ever be able to go to the beach or will it still be freezing into May or even June?

It will probably start getting warmer pretty soon, and it'll definitely be warm by May or June.

If we can take a moment to be honest with ourselves, our weather here in NJ is varying degrees of terrible from November till April.

I think the end of next week. I live in southern NJ. Take a look at Weather Underground, my current favorite weather forecast product.

I follow long range weather forecasts pretty closely. The current weather pattern will remain in effect until about the second week of April. So you can expect cold shots through Easter. After the April 10-15 time period the weather pattern is expected to flip, so the eastern half of the US should warm up significantly while the West becomes cooler. But over the next 3-4 weeks don't expect to see many days above the 50's.

If you have some time to spare, I highly recommend Weatherbell. Here's their currently weekly video that does a great job of explaining why it will remain cold over the next few weeks. These guys are almost always spot on with their long range forecasts.

In a few weeks, you and everybody else will be complaining about extreme heat and AC bills. That is just what the theory of global warming predicts. Weather will become more volatile and the natural disasters will become worse.

See the thread I started weeks ago, entitled "This weather is vile".

It will get warmer. It has to. I HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT OR I WON'T BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING!!!!!

Every year I hate the cold more and more. And it seems to be getting colder year after year (I have no idea if this is actually true).
