I go to school in NYC and no one is willing to help me with being certified in NJ at school...

I have been researching online forever but I am still so lost.

How do I apply for Sub certification in bergen county?

Can someone please tell me the steps?.........

I would really appreciate it.

You don't apply to the county for sub licenses you go to the individual district board of ed office and pick up the application. There is a fee and you will have to be fingerprinted as well.

But every district employment page says that if you want to apply for a substitute position at that district, I need Substitute credential/Substitute certification. Do you know what this means?

Yes it means you need a sub certificate lol in order to get one go to the district's board of ed office and apply. Or call the board of ed for the district you are looking in and ask them where you can access the application. Once you go through the application process and pay the fees you will revieve a sub credential for that district and hen can begin subbing
