Is there anything else you do on the NJ forum besides verbally vomiting on the state? Just wondering.
That thought crossed my mind also, but the most intriguing question of all (IMHO) is why somebody whose profile states that he/she lives in NYC would dare to make a statement such as, "Can't pay me to live at sea level surrounded by water."
If nobody can pay vision33r to live in NYC--which is at sea level and surrounded by water--then why does he/she live in NYC--at sea level and surrounded by water?

For all you guys hating on the comment, there is some long term risk to owning on the coast of the Hudson under the cliffs. Sandy was pretty bad and the next time a major hurricane blows through (probably won't be decades, but still) it will be worse due to likely global warming / sea level increases.
Granted, I'd be perfectly comfortable living there (especially renting), just take into account that long-term issue when/if buying property and have a plan in mind for where to park your car for a few days if another major storm comes in.

...and the same could be said for many areas of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
The person who said that "you couldn't pay me to live at sea level, surrounded by water" apparently lives in NYC.
Bayonne high school is splitting into Bayonne high school and Bayonne academy which will offer very good APs.
Just wondering if this will increase Bayonne rating.
Bayonne is safe. Just mind your business, keep it moving and you'll be fine. It's very small home town feeling. Quiet and boring if you need a night life (if you prefer quiet though it's great)... But yes, it's pretty safe.

Welcome home!
You clearly have not been here any time recently? Quiet? They build all these large condos apartment complexes, multiple ambulance routes. Was the only plus of this town and that's gone out the ****ter too
