What is your door-to-door commute from Paulus Hook to Midtown using the ferry? Is the ferry reliable? How fast is the connecting bus to Columbus Circle? How does it compare to the PATH?

I have found it reliable when I used it. About 15 min to cross the river, about 15 to 20 min on the shuttle and another 10 min walk. 45 min total I would say it how it works out. The PATH to Subway is much cheaper. I don't take the 33rd Street PATH. It is too crowded and doesn't get me close enough to Park Avenue. I take the Exchange Place PATH to WTC and then walk over to Fulton Station and take either the 4 or 5 train. Both express to Grand Central (3 stops). I find this the best way to midtown for me. I work near GC.

So if one lived right by the ferry, and office is right on the bus route, it could take about 30 minutes door to door? How about with occasional delays or inclement weather? Guessing 45 minutes max.
